Causeway, Cavendish and Ratton students art work featured in Guinness exhibition

Come to DC1 Cafe to see a wonderful display of pictures by local students from Causeway, Cavendish and Ratton schools. Their students all entered an art competition to illustrate a current world record from the book, Guinness World Records 2018. The students chose to illustrate amazing records, including The Most Snails on a Human Face, The Heaviest Gingerbread Man and The Widest Mouth.

The competition was organised by Eastbourne based gallery, Emma Mason to compliment their exhibition Art For All, which shows the original prints made in the 1950s and 1960s to promote the very first Guinness Book of Records. You can see this exhibition and all the pictures by the students in the DC1 Gallery & Cafe throughout April.

Art For All exhibition at DC1 Gallery and the display of school students’ work at DC1 Cafe at 67-69 Seaside Road, Eastbourne will run until 28 April.

Congratulations to the winners in the schools competition!
