May 4 @ 5:00 pm - 5:45 pmFree - £5
On Thurs 4 May, we will host a Members’ Artist Talk with photographer Denise Felkin, whose work we are showing at DC1 in May and June 2017.
Our downstairs gallery will show I’m not voting because….., nine large portraits of people who did not vote in the last General Election in 2014, while our upstairs cafe gallery will show Felkin’s Resurrection, four portraits of homeless people composed in the style and technique of artist Edouard Manet.
Denise will talk about the two projects, what inspired her to do them and her own practice as an artist.

The talk will be followed by a Private View at DC1 from 6-8pm.
