The documentation of the work of art is crucial for its afterlife in portfolios, submissions press and publications. Through a presentation with helpful and practical advice, we learn what is required in recording all manner of artwork for posterity. Alison Bettles will demonstrate a few tips in this practical workshop. Participants can bring in their own camera and small artwork of your own and she will set up some scenarios.
Alison will start with a short talk about applying to Towner Art Gallery’s Sussex Open, an established exhibition for artists based in East & West Sussex. The deadline for application is 30 April. Come along & hear some tips on making a strong application and come armed with any questions you may have.
Alison Bettles is a photographer and has photographed artists individual works and exhibitions at Towner Gallery and other institutions for the past 10 years.
