Ever wanted to make your own work without an existing script or create your own characters or story?
The team from Hydrocracker Theatre Company – who made the recent devised “unmissable… beautifully crafted” Operation Black Antler at this year’s Brighton Festival – will be on hand to share some of their trade secrets.
You will get to explore how to create your own believable and authentic characters and a taste of what it feels like to be part of an ensemble.
Open to all.
Age suitable for: adults and young people 14+
This will be a practical workshop so please wear comfortable, loose clothing.

Hydrocracker Theatre Company is a critically-acclaimed immersive theatre company who have made work on Brighton Pier, in police cells, town halls and in restaurants – often including community casts with whom it works to develop the skills required.
Its latest work, Operation Black Antler, made with partners, Blast Theory, was one of the commissions for Brighton Festival’s 50th Anniversary and Ideas Test in Kent, winning critical acclaim from national critics and plaudits from participants and audiences alike.
