Wyntercon VII at Eastbourne Sports Park

September 26 - September 27

So what exactly is Wyntercon VII?

This is our end of year fundraising showcase event. Managed by Wyntercon CIO, its purpose is to raise funds for, and awareness of, our activities and workshops that run throughout the year with support from our partners and sponsors. Regarded as one of the biggest family-friendly events on the south coast, it has fast become part of the local calendar. Our annual event is the largest comic con style event in the UK Owned and Managed by a UK Charity.

As our motto says.

” It doesn’t matter what world you come from, you’re welcome in ours. ”

Over the years this event has won and been shortlisted for various award including Best Community Event in Sussex 2019 , Winning the Eastbourne Tourism Award in 2017 and 2018 plus getting shortlisted for the National Disability and Inclusion Awards

At the event you will find a variety of all-age workshops in arts and crafts, a good selection of activities including circus skills, photo ops with props from franchises like Game of Thrones and Dr Who, steampunk, pirates, a massive costume/cosplay competition and more.

The event attracts thousands of people *over 6000 attendees in 2019* – including families, cos players and traders. Not forgetting fantastic entertainers, actors, authors and even dinosaurs and wolves! No one’s been eaten… yet, but one thing for certain you’ll find at Wyntercon is a bold and brilliant full inclusive and dynamic community from different backgrounds all under one roof.
