We fundraise for our work through the kind support of individuals, sponsors, public funders, charitable trusts and foundations, and sales of limited-edition artworks from emerging and underrepresented artists who are part of DC’s creative programme. Proceeds are split equally between participating artists and DC.  

Collective Books is a bookshop, located both online and at the Devonshire Collective’s gallery, VOLT. We offer a curated selection of contemporary art publications, self-published artistic projects, and experimental printed matter. We have an open submission policy: if you are an artist, writer, or publisher with a focus on the South East, we invite you to submit your books, projects, and zines through the shop.

Collective Books hosts a themed book club alongside every new exhibition, in collaboration with the participating artist. It’s an informal and friendly gathering, and everyone is welcome.
