Convened by psychospiritual psychotherapist and artist photographer Dana Brass, this programme is designed to provide artists with the support, boundaries and resources for effective and mutually beneficial work with communities.
Running from April 2023–April 2024, the six selected artists will receive 1-to-1 support from Dana Brass, peer learning opportunities through group supervision, bi-monthly masterclasses by leading local practitioners, and receive support to design and deliver two paid workshops with communities in Eastbourne.
Course syllabus:
Introductory facilitated session by Dana Brass.
Six development workshops led by experienced regional practitioners on different areas of practice, from community to formal learning, safeguarding, occupational health and young people.
Two 1-to-1 supervisions with Dana Brass to support personal development, identify goals and reflect on practice.
Two group supervisions facilitated by Dana Brass to support peer learning.
Opportunity to observe / shadow workshops led by DC’s Creative Learning Manager.
