Existence Proof is an exhibition of new works by multi-disciplinary artists Rottingdean Bazaar at Devonshire Collective’s VOLT gallery.

Rottingdean Bazaar (@rottingdeanbazaar) are artists James Theseus Buck and Luke Brooks. Working together as a duo since meeting at Central Saint Martins in 2015 their work straddles creative direction, fashion design, video direction, installation and fine art practice. James Theseus Buck (b. 1989, Brighton, UK) graduated from Central St. Martins' MA Fashion course in 2015. Luke Brooks (b. 1986, London, UK) graduated from Central St. Martins' MA Fashion course in 2012. The duo lecture in fashion and arts at universities including Westminster, Central St. Martins and HEAD in Geneva. Rottingdean Bazaar live and work in Rottingdean, East Sussex, UK.

Existence Proof is one of three upcoming commissions by Rottingdean Bazaar in Eastbourne. For the duration of the exhibition, VOLT gallery will feature a new window commission made by Rottingdean Bazaar in partnership with photographer Annie Collinge, their long-time collaborator. A short walk away from the gallery, a public work by Rottingdean Bazaar will also be on show. This piece is one of twelve public art works commissioned by Eastbourne Alive to coincide with the Turner Prize being held in Eastbourne.
