We are holding a shared space for learning, solidarity and mourning in response to the terrible events in and around Gaza. We express our deepest compassion to all victims of this struggle.
Organised with Take the Space, the event will be facilitated by artist Akila Richards with The Rest Experience, offering poetic meditation and moments of silence, followed by sharing nourishing food together. The Rest Experience invites us to pause to find space and solace in the heartbreak and distress by resting collectively as a form of activism. You are also invited to bring your poems in the first 20 minutes of reading and sharing.
This will take place at DC Learn, 1 - 5 Seaside, Eastbourne, BN22 7NA.
We have limited capacity for the event so please be in touch to RSVP, polly@devonshirecollective.co.uk
