Beyond the Frame: A Free Weekend Lab with Jean Abreu Dance & Devonshire Collective
Join Jean Abreu Dance for a weekend of creativity with two free events inspired by Blue, the final film by artist Derek Jarman. Led by artistic director and choreographer Jean Abreu, this lab is part of their ongoing research and development for a new work in response to Blue.
Open to artists of all disciplines—visual arts, performance, dance, film, writing, and more—this is a chance to engage with Jean Abreu’s creative process and contribute to a shared artistic dialogue. Through movement, discussion, and collaboration, you'll connect with fellow creatives, explore new ideas, and expand your practice.
Both events are free. We have up to two travel bursaries available for those with financial barriers to attend.
